BlackBerry Keypad Shortcuts

Here is some Keypad Shortcuts that can help you to Know your Blackberry better and help you to make your BlackBerry use more fast and easy.

To set "Alt" key in BlackBerry 9105, Press Volume Key "up-down-up-down-up"


Basics Shortcuts
Press "Space" to Select or clear a checkbox
Press "Alt" to View available values in a dropdown box
Press and hold "0" to Enter "+" in phone number
Press and Hold the "Escape" key to move Home Screen from any Applications
Press and Hold the "Menu" key to switch Applications runtime
Press and Hold the "Volume Down" to send an incoming call to voice mail
Press and Hold "Shift" key and Press Alt key to On-Off Num Lock
Change Battery Graph to Numerical Value
You can change the coverage indicator to show 'signal strength' in digital/dBm format.
On Home Screen ...
Press and hold "Alt" key and press "N" + "M" + "L" + "L"
(Lower value is a better quality signal. -60 db is excellent while --100 would be poor.)
Do the same if you want to remove this effect.
See Event Logs
You can see all event logs/Java event log from your BlackBerry.
On Home Screen ...
Press and hold "Alt" key and press "L" + "G" + "L" + "G"
(where you can clear some logs to free some memory on your own risk.)

Samsung Galaxy Safe Mode

Some time when we try to intstall some app or theme on Samsung Galaxy, Phone stuck in a restart loop, getting hung or get to slow, Start in safe mode and restart will solved this problame.
Safe Mode doesn't load all of the system data or app, just like safe mode in windows.

To turn on Safe Mode in Samsung Galaxy, follow this steps ...

1 ) Switch off the phone by pressing on the Power button.
2 ) While phone is turning on press and hold the Menu button.
3 ) Continue to hold the Menu button until you see the Home screen.
4 ) When phone start you will see "Safe Mode" text on the left hand bottom corner.

Now you can remove any problematic app or theme from your Samsung Galaxy.
To turn off safe mode, Turn off phone and Then pull out the battery for 30sec-1min.. put battery back in.

i dont have much experience with samsung mobile yet but one of my reader Divyesh ask me about this so i am just sharing what i know.

All About Sticky Notes, Windows7

Sticky Notes is very useful application in Windows7, You can note all your Pending work, Appointments, Reminders and any Otherthing you want...You can find Sticky Notes also in Windows Vista, in Gadgets.


To Add Sticky Notes in Windows7

1 ) Open Start Menu by clicking windows icon on Taskbar.
2 ) Type "Sticky Notes" in "Search programs and files" textbox on Start Menu. (or goto "All Programs > Accessories > Sticky Notes")
3 ) You will see in "Sticky Notes" icon in statmenu, Click icon to Add ur first Sticky Note.
After you Add first Sticky Note, if you want to add more notes just click on "+" left side of your Sticky Note...
If you want to delete Sticky Note you just need to click "x" on right sire of on note just like other windows...
To Add Text on Sticky Note
1 ) Click on Sticky Note.
2 ) You will see Blinking cursor on Note.
3 ) Type what you want to add in your Note.
Edit Sticky Note Background Color
1 ) Right click on Sticky Note you want to change color.
2 ) Select Colour form Popup menu you want to set for you Note.
You will get Blue, Green, Pink, Purple, White, Yellow as your option.
Edit Sticky Note Text
To set Position and Arrangement of text on your note you need to use these keyboard shortcuts.

BlackBerry Safe Mode

Some times its happen, when you install some Theme or app on your Blackberry, and after restart you Blackberry get hung or get to slow. That time its hard to delete anything from phone.
Now you can turn on "Blackberry Safe Mode".


Safe Mode starts the Blackberry with no third-party apps or themes.
 Its makes troubleshooting or apps uninstallation very easy, even its use less memory.

To turn on safe mode in BlackBerry, follow this steps ...

1 ) Do a battery pull.
2 ) After you re-insert the battery.
3 ) Watch for the red LED(light-emitting diode). When the LED goes out press and hold the ESCAPE key until the phone finishes booting.
4 ) Release the ESCAPE key.
5 ) When the phone is booted, you'll see a dialog box telling you that you are in Safe Mode, Click OK.
When safe mode is on, a safe mode indicator appears in the device status section.(on the Home screen)

To Turn off safe mode, just do another battery pull and
re-insert.
