Use Yahoo OneSearch with Voice, you simply say your search query and the software will automatically type in what you said, no more typing. Yahoo OneSearch on Blackberry is great and gives you almost unlimited information. The application gives suggestions if there are similar sounding words that you dictated. The software is quit responsive and gives you just a glimpse of voice portal technology.

Search Google with Blackberry

Google just came out with a whole new interface for search using your blackberry. You can now search directly and even get suggestions to help you finished your search queries. There's a line of icons you can customize to give you access to your favorite Google apps. Overall installation was very fast using my Blackberry Curve and loading time was great, I try to test it out latter this week with other Blackberry phones.

Leaked OS 5.0.0.344 BlackBerry Bold 9700!

Its not official blackberry 9700 firmware. Please Read: Keep in mind this is NOT an official release and as such is not supported by RIM or your Carrier. If you choose to install, do so at your own risk and only if you're comfortable in the process of upgrading and downgrading your device software. It is quite normal during operating system development for certain features to be crippled or disabled while others are tested, and these beta builds often reflect that.

RIM Launched Blackberry App Store Web Based

RIM launched a web based version of App World that lets you browse applications via your computer.

It has everything you would expect to see in a basic store. Applications are separated into categories. There is also a breakdown of Top Paid, Top Free, Featured, and new releases.

Wordpress Blogging Client for Blackberry

new release of the WordPress for BlackBerry application has been released. The most requested feature has been added. BIS support via the BIS-B connection layer.


In addition to BIS support, the new beta includes the following:

* Added support for the “more” tag in both pages and posts
* Tweaks to the UI based on user feedback
* Most error messages are now localized
* App now work even when the device memory is set to “encryption mode on”

Update Pandora App for BlackBerry

The Pandora App for BlackBerry has been updated to version 1.1.1. The update carries with it several network connection fixes, including the HTTP 502 error many users have been experiencing.

Here are some additional notes from the ChangeLog :

• Fixed HTTP 502 issue (and other networking-related issues such as the “connection closed” problem on the 8350i)
• Fixed volume going to “full” after an audio system alert (phone, email, IM) on Storm
• For listeners who use the low end of the volume scale, the jump from 3 bars to 4 bars isn’t as jarring anymore

There remains several features we would like to see added to the mobile client, that are available in the Web App (i.e. Add Artist or Song to Station), but the updates are welcome none the less.
Pandora users should receive a prompt the when starting the app, if not you can get the newest version by visiting Pandora.com from your BlackBerry browser.
